Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
NetNavi and NetNavi Cloud are trading names of Omtrex Ltd (company number 13851032). This policy applies to all use of NetNavi Cloud hosting, DNS, account and related services. It is intended to protect customers, third parties and the reliability of our infrastructure.
1. Lawful use
You must not use NetNavi Cloud services for activity that is unlawful in the jurisdiction in which you operate or in a way that requires us to facilitate unlawful conduct.
2. Security and unauthorised access
You must not use our services to:
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, networks or data;
- distribute malware, ransomware, credential-stealing software or other malicious code;
- run vulnerability scanning, password attacks or exploitation activity against systems you do not own or have permission to test;
- operate botnets, command-and-control infrastructure or services designed primarily to compromise third parties; or
- deliberately interfere with the availability or integrity of another system or network.
3. Spam and messaging abuse
Unsolicited bulk email, address harvesting, mail bombing, phishing and deceptive messaging are prohibited. If you send legitimate bulk or transactional email, you are responsible for appropriate consent, unsubscribe handling and compliance with applicable anti-spam and privacy law.
4. Hosting content
You must not knowingly use our services to host or distribute content that is illegal, malicious, fraudulent, infringes intellectual-property rights in a manner that creates legal liability, or is primarily intended to facilitate scams, phishing or abuse.
5. DNS abuse
Our DNS services must not be used to knowingly support phishing, malware distribution, botnet infrastructure, fraudulent domains, DNS amplification attacks or other abusive activity. You are responsible for the DNS zones and records you create or manage through your account.
6. Resource abuse
You must not deliberately consume excessive shared resources in a way that materially degrades service for other customers, bypass technical limits, or use a plan for a purpose that is clearly incompatible with its stated limits. If resource usage becomes unsuitable for a plan, we may ask you to reduce usage or move to a more appropriate service.
7. Proxies, relays and public services
Open proxies, open mail relays, public recursive DNS resolvers and similar services that create a material abuse or amplification risk must not be operated unless the relevant service expressly permits them and they are securely configured.
8. Intellectual property and complaints
If we receive a credible complaint alleging unlawful or infringing use, we may request information from the customer, investigate the service and take proportionate action where required. Knowingly false or abusive complaints are not acceptable.
9. Enforcement
Where possible and appropriate, we will normally try to contact you before taking action. However, we may restrict, suspend or terminate a service without advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect security, service availability, customers, third parties or our legal position.
Serious or repeated abuse may result in permanent termination and may be reported to an appropriate authority where legally required or reasonably necessary.
10. Reporting abuse
To report suspected abuse involving a NetNavi Cloud service, contact sales@netnavi.cloud with the relevant domain, IP address, timestamps and supporting information where available.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as threats, services and legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
